

Casey Kaleba has coordinated violence for television, music videos, and more than 200
productions with professional, community, and academic theatres. Local work in the

Directors, Casey has taught theatrical combat workshops and courses for a wide
range of programs – from elementary schools to senior citizens. He has taught at the
Matthew R. Wilson has killed people on stage with swords, knives, pikes, guns, ropes, clubs, bathtubs, and shovels. He has also died many times himself.
A proud member of the Society of American Fight Directors, Matt has practiced Stage Combat since 1995. He is also a professional director and actor with memberships in Equity, SAG, and AFTRA.
A ten-year resident of NYC, Matt directed fights for numerous Off- and Off-Off Broadway productions. In his hometown of Washington, DC, his choreography has been seen at the Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Folger Theatre, Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, and Constellation Theatre, among others. Favorite credits include Macbeth, Women Beware Women, ‘Tis Pity She's a Whore, The Fifth Musketeer, and Life is a Dream.
In addition to the standard weapons styles recognized by the SAFD, Matt has a special love for Found Weapons, Rapier & Cloak, and Acrobalance & Weight-Sharing techniques. He frequently utilizes Viewpoints, Laban Movement Analysis, Alexander Technique, and Commedia dell’Arte in his choreography and teaching.
An Adjunct Professor of Acting at both George Washington University and George Mason University, Matt has also been a Guest Artist/Instructor at numerous colleges including NYU, Columbia, and Northwestern. He has served on the faculty for the International Order of the Sword and Pen at the Paddy Crean workshop in Banff, Canada, and he has taught and assisted at SAFD workshops throughout the US.
